Trade-a-Tree Program

Did you ever dream that the tree you planted eight years ago would grow to the size it is today? You thought the tree was planted at a safe distance from the power lines, but Mother Nature has taken over. Your problem is also a big concern to Paducah Power System.

Tree limbs are a major cause of outages during storms and to eliminate this problem, we like to keep our primary distribution lines clear of all trees and limbs. If you have a tree growing in our line, please call us at 575-4010 to inquire about our Trade-A-Tree Program. We will need name, address, phone number, and location of the tree in relation to the address. The request will be given to Jimmy Langston, Operations Superintendent, to determine if you qualify for our Trade-A-Tree Program.

If a Paducah Power System customer has a tree(s) that qualifies for the Trade-A-Tree program, the customer will be issued a $25.00 voucher for each tree.  The voucher will apply toward any purchase at James Sanders Nursery. (A maximum of four vouchers per customer will be issued.)
